Our SOLUTION

The iToothbrush combines the latest ionic technology, an ultrasonic head, and a piezoelectric sensor to provide a high-performance cleaning experience that revolutionizes oral hygiene for those with sensitive gums or periodontal disease.

The iToothbrush releases ions to weaken plaque and removes it gently using its ultrasonic head with five different speed settings.

BENEFITS

iToothbrush improves the overall dental health of Canadians in a cost-efficient and time-saving way. With 1 in 5 Canadians suffering from periodontal disease (many undiagnosed), iToothbrush is a technologically advanced way to improve your health! With new studies showing a link between periodontal disease and heart disease, good oral health is more important than ever.

Our toothbrush saves money by reducing plaque build-up that would need to be removed by going to the dentist. Our silicon bristles last longer than traditional nylon bristles and save money by not needing to be replaced as often.

Ionic technology saves time. The brush releases ions to effectively weaken the plaque on the teeth, making it easier to remove. Research shows that it removes 85% more plaque with 50% less effort brushing. This means you have more time to spend with family and friends.

Silicone bristles protect your gums and are a gamechanger for those with sensitive gums, periodontal disease, and children.

HOW IT WORKS

Charge your iToothbrush by connecting the docking station to an electrical outlet. The rechargeable battery will need to be charged approximately twice per week based on normal use and lasts up to 10 years.

Hold the toothbrush with a wet bare hand to close the electrical circuit to release ions that flow through your body, out your tooth and gums, and back into the toothbrush to complete the circuit and activate the plaque-removing effects.

Brush your teeth using one of 5 power modes for 1-2 minutes. Dentists recommend brushing your teeth for at least 2 minutes, but our advanced technology shows enhanced benefits even with 1 minute of brushing time.

Enjoy healthier gums and cleaner teeth!
People will notice — and you will feel and
see the difference too.

The iToothbrush head generates negatively charged ions. They destroy the calcium bridge which binds plaque to the teeth and transfers plaque particles into a free-floating form easily removed by the toothbrush head.

Advantages

iToothbrush uses electric and magnetic qualities of teeth to weaken the forces binding plaque to teeth. iToothbrush releases ions to change the polarity of plaque on the teeth and making it easier to remove. The ionic flow breaks the magnetic hold that the calcium bridge forms on teeth that plaque readily adheres to. The effect is like turning off a magnet as plaque can no longer adhere to your tooth. The result is that iToothbrush significantly reduces plaque build-up and the development of gingivitis.

Our toothbrushes are more effective than regular electric or manual brushing. Our studies show up to 85% more effectiveness, even with a 50% reduction in brushing time. iToothbrush combines the benefits of electric brushes with ionic technology for a unique and powerful tool in the fight for oral hygiene and health.

The ultrasound transducer built into the iToothbrush head generates ultrasound waves variable frequency (20kHz – 10MHz) resulting in the most powerful efficient micro-bubble production and powerful cavitation to disintegrate dental biofilm and microbial plaque

Regular brushing reduces plaque build-up. iToothbrush makes it easy to remove as much plaque as possible in less time. Dental health improves by using an effective combination of ionic technology and an electric, sonic toothbrush. By not requiring prolonged aggressive brushing, iToothbrush reduces the likelihood of pockets being developed between the teeth and the gums

iToothbrush combines the latest ionic technology, an ultrasonic head, and a piezoelectric sensor to provide a high-performance cleaning experience that revolutionizes oral hygiene for those with sensitive gums or periodontal disease. The sonic head easily removes plaque with gentle silicone bristles. That means no more aggressive, prolonged brushing.

  • Silicone bristles

Helps to adjust hardness. Can be replaced based on your personal needs.

Internal Components

  • Titanium oxide rod
Emits ions that weaken the adhesion of plaque to the teeth.

  • Vibration motor
Generates sonic vibrations that move the head for good cleaning power.

  • Mode selector
Gives you total control to select one of 3 cleaning modes of the toothbrush.

  • Battery
Powers your toothbrush for 10 minutes, which is enough to brush for nearly 4 days without charging.

  • Head piezoelectric transducer

Vibrates the head of the toothbrush ultrasonically

  • Metal handle

The metal brush body acts as a contact to close the circuit.

  • Charging station

Charges the toothbrush wirelessly using inductive technology.

Components

IONIC TOOTHBRUSH TECHNOLOGY

  • iToothbrush releases ions to change the polarity of plaque on the teeth and make it easier to remove using the ultrasonic head.

  • The iToothbrush is designed to accelerate the flow of ions from the toothbrush into your body and through your tooth and gums, completing the circuit and releasing plaque.

  • Ionic technology destroys the calcium bridge that plaque clings to, making it easier to remove from your teeth. Plaque is released all over your teeth — even in hard-to-reach areas.

  • The ionic technology combined with the piezoelectric sensor and silicone brushes provides a high-performance cleaning experience for those with sensitive gums or periodontal disease.

Smart Ultrasonic Waves

The physical process of the ultrasonic cleaning is based on the cavitation effect when an ultrasound bristle movement provokes an initiation, growth, oscillation, and collapse of gas micro-bubbles. Cavitation of micro-bubbles on the surface of the dental biofilm results in significant mechanical forces responsible for permanent chemical and physical changes in reducing integrity and pathogenicity of plaque. Unlike other toothbrushes, iToothbrush’s ultrasound transducer is not limited to a single frequency. It generates a wide range of frequencies oscillating within the operating range of the spectrum (20kHz – 10MHz). The structure of the dental biofilm varies depending on the individuals’ oral conditions and the mineral composition of saliva. Therefore, the most effective frequency to violate the integrity of dental plaque may vary too. The wider range of frequencies of the iToothbrush’s transducer greatly improves its cleaning effect. The movement of the toothbrush bristles at different frequencies, in addition to the direct scratching effect, causes a turbulent fluid flow that directly leads to hydrodynamic effects such as wall shear forces acting parallel to the tooth surface. The frequency range used for the human ear is not audible and can be useful because the hydrodynamic forces (such as the amount of fluid flowing through the tooth and the formation of bubbles) increase significantly. Plastic bristles are more efficient in the formation and propagation of microbubbles generated by ultrasound.

SILICONE BRISTLES are a differentiator for those with periodontal disease. Moms first used silicone on infants to soothe their teething symptoms. Now silicone is a standard on the iToothbrush for the softest bristle possible for sensitive gums or periodontal disease. Additionally, silicone bristles do not retain bacteria or wear down as traditional nylon bristles do.

COMPARISON TABLE

There is often no need to use all technologies at once. iToothbrush makes it possible to selectively use ionic, sonic, or ultrasonic cleaning modes.

Silicone bristles are important not only for those with sensitivity issues but because conventional toothbrush bristles hinder the propagation of ultrasound waves, which in turn reduces the cleaning effect.

The resonant frequency of plaque differs among individuals due to varying oral conditions, foods consumed, and the mineral composition of saliva. To make plaque easier to remove it is important to make it vibrate by emitting ultrasound waves at its resonant frequency. Where other toothbrushes are fixed to a specific frequency, iToothbrush oscillates within a wide range of frequencies. This greatly improves the cleaning effect, because it guarantees that the plaque’s resonant frequency will be used several times during a cleaning session.
